Bob Hyland is an accomplished plantsman who has spent 25 years at public gardens including Brooklyn Botanic Garden, San Francisco Botanical Garden, and Longwood Gardens. From 2002 to 2011, he founded and ran Loomis Creek Nursery in Hudson, New York, with his partner & co-owner Andrew Beckman. The nursery closed in fall 2010, but Bob’s design and consulting business, now based in Portland, Oregon, works with clients in the Hudson Valley, Berkshire region of Massachusetts, and now the Portland-northwest Oregon region.
