Bob Hyland is an accomplished plantsman who has spent 25 years at public gardens including Brooklyn Botanic Garden, San Francisco Botanical Garden and Longwood Gardens. From 2003 to 2010, he founded and ran Loomis Creek Nursery in Hudson, New York, with co-owner Andrew Beckman. The nursery closed in 2010, but Bob’s design and consulting business, now based in Portland, Oregon, and working with clients around the country, is expanding.
